I am loving my new Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro lens. It is rarely off the XTi these days. I have been shooting EVERYTHING.
Here are two of my recent favorites (click the thumbnail for a closer look at my flickr page):
(Don’t you just love the lips in the middle of the plant!?)
and My Mindy - the 100mm lens is not just a macro lens, but a portrait lens too.
Debbie, It’s Dama from the QVC site. I am still loving looking at your pictures. They are awesome!! What kind of flower is that???
Comment by Dama on October 29th, 2007Hey Dama, how nice of you to comment! Thanks!
To answer your question, it isn’t a flower at all, I have been told it is a succulent - sort of like a cactus. It is a tiny little plant, but there is a bunch growing in our front garden!
Comment by debbieT on October 30th, 2007I want/need a new camera, and I absolutely love the quality of these pictures! Great shots btw.
HEY Meagan, thank you so much for commenting! I added you as my flickr contact too, so I can check up on your photos.
Anyway, I love my camera and lenses. I think I am totally obsessed!!
